I recently had the opportunity to photograph the beautiful Tatyana in the pub room at my apartment complex. We took some posed portraits of her and also some candids of her shooting pool. I experimented with using a stroboframe with the flash positioned to bounce backwards off of a white umbrella for most of these shots. It provided some nice diffused lighting of Tatyana’s face. Jon is a fitness model from the Philadelphia area. He came down to the DC area for a fitness shoot with me. We did the shoot at Stead Park because the basketball court has a pretty amazing graffiti mural featuring the characters from the Wizard of Oz. Here’s my favorite shot from the day. Melody is a triathlon competitor interested in getting into fitness modeling. We did this shoot in the gym and pool area at my apartment in Alexandria, Virginia. All the photos from the shoot can be viewed here.

Ciera is an an actress who needed some shots for her portfolio. We decided to do the shoot at the U.S. National Arboretum. The arboretum was a beautiful choice! Here are a couple of my favorite photos from the shoot. You can view the rest of the photos here.
